Quick service, excellent freshmade food and generous amount, very kind and familiar ambiance; I was lucky to find parking in the back. I'll be back again for those Latin taste dishes!
Lovely little restaurant, away from the madness of Plaza Major. Food fantastic - highly recommend the pulpo salad and salad caprese. Will be back for sure. Nearly forgot to mention the amazing service
The food here is phenomenal, I literally crave the stuffed arepas from here sometimes. And great for when you want to get late night bites because this place is open to 4am and conveniently located next to Lagniappe and close to Midtown/Wynwood area. The place is decorated with fun wallpaper designs - and is counter service.
Yeah, let's just update my review with another 5 star score. I love consistency, it's just arepas, but they are always on point, and a good size for the price. Ive had late night arepas, lunch, take out, no exceptions, always delicious.. On my recent visit this week i had a chicken arepa & tequenos :)
Super cute spot! Open till 4am on Friday's and Saturday's so it's a great spot to grab a quick bite before or after an outing! They have items like arepas, empanadas, traditional small bites, and bowls. They also have a fridge full of items you can purchase and take home. Order at the counter, take a seat and they'll bring the food to you. Small space with limited seating inside an outside. Enjoy!
Damn this was good. Been a while since I've had a good arepa and this hit the spot. The shredded chicken mixture in the empanada (also a nada-based shell) was also delicious. Awesome spot for a quick bite.
It's always such a pleasure coming here! I brought my friends who live in Tennessee today and they fell in love with Gabriela, the food and the atmosphere. This is such a perfect spot to enjoy great food with top quality service. Absolutely recommended
Visited this place a couple of years ago! And remembered coming back to it twice. However, on this recent visit to Miami I couldn't remember the name and had to search for photos on my phone, and based on list of "Best Arepas in FL" this place ranked #3 and the decor inside confirmed my previous visit. Vibrant and colorful yet homey on the inside, this place offers an authentic taste of Venezuelan food. The cook herself was very sweet and is someone you can tell knows what she's doing in the kitchen. There's a lot to choose from and the menu itself can be a little overwhelming but I'd ask the front host her thoughts on what's delicious or what she's recommend. We got some appetizers the tostones con queso but honestly, I'd pass. Cheese on top of a plantain? I'd suggest they do a little more with this like over beans in between or some kind of sauce or protein. The other dish was these cheese cachapas which were delicious! The dipping sauce they offered for this specifically complimented it well, and their aji based chili sauce went well with them too. I got a Reina Pepiada arepa and it was delicious and just as good as I remembered from a few years back. However, I feel like the sizing may have shrunk since my last visit. Overall, I did enjoy the food and would definitely come back again to try something different.
Tried the chicken and avocado arepa as well as the shredded beef arepa. The arepa was fresh and crispy and nicely wrapped in paper so that you could eat it on the go. I selected the cilantro sauce for one and garlic sauce for the other, and wish I had selected the cilantro sauce both times because it was the best sauce! The shredded chicken was plentiful albeit a tiny bit dry, and came with many fresh green avocado slides on top. The shredded beef was by far my favorite as it had finely diced vegetables and was packed with flavor and juices. It also came with a ton of white cheese (maybe too much cheese, if that is a thing!). Overall, I will be back to sample more of their arepas! Highly recommended!
A nice-looking hole-in-the-wall hidden just a block away from bustling Biscayne Boulevard. We tried four different arepas, some of which were better than others. The shredded beef and cheese, chicken pabellon, and chicken avocado salad were all good. The shredded chicken with avocado had the drawback of being stuffed first with chicken and then avocado, so that each bite had only one of the fillings and not both. They have an assortment of sauces tableside that you can try if you eat in. We had to take ours to go unfortunately. As a bonus, their decor is very bright and inviting, which is a nice plus.
